The Franson Experiment as an Example of Spontaneous Breaking of Time-Translation Symmetry

چکیده
We describe an explicit statistical model of local hidden variables that reproduces the predictions quantum mechanics for ideal Franson experiment and sheds light on physical mechanisms might be involved in actual experiment. The crux our is spontaneous breaking time-translation gauge symmetry by configurations pairs photons locked time energy experiment, which acquire a non-zero geometric phase through certain cyclic transformations.
